Justin & Logan’s Golden Hour Couples Session

Justin reached out to me to photograph his love story with Logan, emphasizing golden hour and late-summer colors. Their last session was a year ago, and this time, they wanted a refresh just because—no big milestone, just everyday love. Those are my favorite sessions because they capture the moments that feel real and unfiltered. This was also Justin’s first healthy, openly gay relationship, and he wanted to highlight that Logan is his forever person.

Meet Justin & Logan

Together for 2.5 years, Justin and Logan quickly knew they were meant to be—so much so that they moved in together shortly after meeting. They love hiking adventures, exploring new cities, and quiet moments at home. Justin originally found me on TikTok and Instagram, saying he was impressed by my warm, glowy photography style and how I truly value my clients. He told me about past photo sessions where he felt rushed and disappointed with the results, which made him even more excited to work with someone who takes time to listen.

He envisioned photos that felt “sunny and warmer, like a fairytale.” That’s exactly what I love to create—soft, bright, golden images that feel timeless.

The Perfect Location

When planning, Justin sent an inspiration photo, and I immediately thought of William Kirsch Preserve. No hiking permits, no crowds—just mowed fields, pockets of water, tall grass, and views of Pinnacle Mountain glowing at sunset. I sent Justin updated pictures, and by pure coincidence, it turned out to be their favorite walking spot. Trusting my intuition paid off—it was exactly what they had imagined.

Styling the Session

I guided Justin on outfit choices: neutrals, texture, and coordination. He nailed it, choosing browns, off-whites, and linens that complemented the bright summer greens perfectly. Most pieces came from SHEIN, proving you can look incredible without breaking the bank.
